I photograph your real life, as it unfolds

My real life includes a wicked husband, 3 adventurous and full on kids, a life in Canmore, Alberta and a genuine interest in visual storytelling. 

I'm a born and raised Canmore, Alberta girl, with a 10 year stint of living in beautiful, bountiful Brooks, Alberta. Brooks is where the prairies vastness, sunsets and people molded me into a curious and explorative spirit. I have one foot planted in the mountains and the other on the prairies. 

I have a background in photojournalism, having studied at The Western Academy of Photography (Victoria,BC), The International Centre of Photography (New York City) and interned at Magnum Photos (New York City). These places of learning are important to me, because it's where I learnt how important the real story is.

When I'm not photographing, I can be found cheering loudly at cross country ski races (embarrassing for my husband), exploring new trails by bicycle, convincing myself I'm a better rock climber than I actually am, and enjoying a variety of experiences with friends and family.
